Genta Hoxha Mullet is a professional violist with 10+ years of experience in performing in orchestras as well as chamber music. Since 2008 she has performed with Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra and in the past years, she has also been active in Kosovo, her home country, with the quartet that she founded called ‘’Festivo Quartet’’.
Throughout the years, Genta has taken part in many tours around Europe and Asia with youth orchestras, and performing with musicians from different countries and backgrounds quickly became a passion of hers.
Genta has an MBA Degree from Staffordshire university (UK), MA in viola performance from Malmo Academy of Music – Lund University (SWE) and a BA, also in viola performance from her home country’s Prishtina University.
Since 2010, Genta has also taught violin and viola performance in different music schools in Kosovo, both public and private. She moved to the US almost three years ago and has started teaching in two private music schools and also substituted teaching for Fauquier County Public schools.
Since May of 2021, she, her husband and their two dogs, live in Coupeville, Whidbey Island in Washington State. She immediately started teaching Violin and Viola at the Violin & Viola Studio of Whidbey Island led by the well known Violinist and Violist Cynthia Morrow-Hattal. She also joined Whidbey Island Community Orchestra and Saratoga Orchestra.
